Artist Statement

I am an intuitive artist and writer. Through my paintings and books, I intend to help individuals achieve a higher level of self-awareness. What I create is and will always be from my heart—an innate sense of well-being keeps me creating for all to see and enjoy. I set aside my thoughts and let my hand be guided to create.

Biography

I was born and raised in Orlando, Florida, and attended the University of South Florida in Tampa, where I earned a B.A. in Fine Arts. I have always wanted to be an artist and am the very curious creative type. As a painter, I was and still am drawn to the Abstract Expressionist genre. However, this has morphed into intuitive creation. Before painting, I am able to collect my thoughts and set them aside so I can intuitively create. I think all artists do this to some degree, as all people have intuitive capabilities. Through enhancing my self-awareness over the years, and becoming more spiritual, I also create works of art with angels.

I began writing over twenty years ago to escape from depression and release the negative emotions I was feeling. This type of writing, without abandon, led me to open up and receive spiritual guidance. Once I learned to recognize the shift of my internal thoughts and inner voice to that of just hearing or letting my hand be guided, I began writing spiritual books that help readers become more mindful and intuitive.

For fun, I love sports - big fan of soccer! I played soccer for a long time, and still love to watch it whenever I can. I also love going to the beach and hiking in the mountains - I'm thankful I live in a state that has both options available to me!
