Friday Reading: Jan. 17th

Language is everything

Not sure if that's quite true, but it is a very good start. How we word things can make a great impact on the person who is reading or listening.

Someone can't help but associate a feeling with a word, or seeing a mental picture of what they're reading. And I believe that words can paint a mental picture.

So, I do my best to filter my words very carefully, whether writing or speaking.

Sometimes it works out great.
Sometimes, I could do a lot better.

How would you rate yourself on a scale of 1-10?

It's a good question, and I ask myself this several times throughout the day. I definitely slow down a bit and intentionally choose my wording when it's a sensitive subject, or if I have an insight I want to share.

We all are energy, and emotions are energy too. I've been thinking a lot more about that lately. I have changed my daily routine as part of 2020. I love - painting and being creative. The amazing energy I put out while painting could light more than a million homes, I'm sure.

This year I am intentionally working on things in a meaningful way - how's that for a good grouping of words?

This year I am intentionally working on things in a meaningful way to create a broader impact for all - how's that, did I improve my language?

I believe the second grouping is better.

It's mid January. I'm focused. I'm being intentional about what I think, say and do. I'm making t-shirts to help facilitate good intentions, mindfulness and a healthy mental attitude.

I'm going to continue to share like this- and that's why I have two Instagram accounts. I'm creative, and I love it! This one has my thoughtful and creative wording shining through-
