You must give to receive

As we're ending the first month of the new year, it's hard not to be reflective and think about what's moved on, and what is lying ahead.

The first month has gone by so fast, it's beginning to feel like 2019, which was (in my mind) the fastest year ever. It started... and then it ended. I was like, "what?"

I'm excited for 2020. I'm loving that it is 20 20. I like even numbers. And I like those odds. Haha.

I was doing some editing a few minutes ago and re-read something that reminded me - How our life plays out is determined by how much we put into it. And what we put into it is up to us. We can be active in fulfilling our dreams and desires, or just merely wish them to be here.

This the writing that I'm glad I re-read:

From Within You True Knowledge Flows
Knowing is believing, and believing is receiving. It is in "within you" that all true knowledge flows. Access it today through open-heart and open-mind, and you will realize that all is well for you. For it is you who chose this process, this ability to be yourself as yourself in body, mind, and spirit. The person you seek, is the person you are. Be the person you were meant to be and act on your true desires.

Each day I take action toward the intentions I set for the year 2020, I know I receive and get closer to their fulfillment. Be mindful. Be intentional. Be creative. New year, new motto. (Picture is from @merit_artist insta.)
